In our basque waters, albacore tuna are mainly pursued by sportfishermen using trolling techniques. The lures used nowadays are quite similar to the ones used at the start of this fishery long time ago. With colorful feathers and vynil skirts, they mimic a squid or small fish surgin the surface. Depending on several variables like sea condition, boat speed, clouds, tides, boat course direction, position in the wake and use of outriggers, your selection of colour and size of the lures for each day will make you successful or not. What is your choice?
